Leslie Logan, an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians, is a writer and PR consultant, and currentlymanages the vendor licensing department of the Seneca Gaming Authority, the regulatory branch of the SenecaGaming Corporation.She has contributed numerous articles to Indian Country Today, and has written forAmerican Indian, themagazine published by the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of the American Indian,Native Americas,Aboriginal Voices,Indigenous Woman,The Turtle Quarterly, and chapters in several Native-themed anthologies.She has served as communications director for the Seneca Nation and the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe and wasmanaging editor of the award-winning quarterly publicationNative Americasbased out of Cornell University. Shehas served on the board of the Seneca Iroquois National Museum and the editorial board of Native Americas. Hercareer also included undergraduate and graduate student relations at Arizona State University and UCLA. Shewas a writer, researcher and editor with First Nations Development Institute and in the education department atthe National Museum of the American Indian.Leslie is a graduate of Ithaca College and Pennsylvania State University. She resideson the Cattaraugus territoryin Western New York.
